Crash, Crash, Crash - All the time.

Can anyone assist? I have a brand new ultra powerful PC (32GB RAM, latest NVidia graphics card - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8-core Processor, Samsung SSD drive) but after upgrading to Prem Pro CC V12, all I get are random crashes and it's really starting to grate.

This is supposedly a professional piece of software, and yet when I was using CS6 PP NEVER crashed on me.

I have been working for an hour, and so far (count them) 5 crashes!! And this is totally random. We are a big company using Adobe products, and I am really disappointed.

Is there anything I can do? Sending crash reports obviously does not help...

Cheers

Jon

Correct answer Bluejonny

Use this:

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Ok. Fingers crossed, but I started to "run program as administrator". So far, *eek* no crashes. But going to test fully tomorrow with a new video.

Cheers!

Does this crashing occur in a brand new project with no media imported? Or does it begin crashing with specific media?

What does Windows Event Viewer say about the crashes?  Specifically the Faulting Application and Exception Code.

In the Application log, you need to click on one of the Error messages with the red exclamation mark, as show in my posted image.

Thanks - have done this. Will see if it's more stable, but it crashed again today. Admittedly a little more stable, but still not ideal. Thanks to everyone for help so far.

I forgot to mention, restart the system,

Another option is to start the program as administrator

If with these changes there is any improvement, it is recommended to uninstall the program:

And then run the installation as administrator.

It is like making sure that the system is not blocking Premiere.
