Hi there,
I'm using premiere pro version 23.4 (build 56)
Computer is a MacBook Pro. 2020
memory 32 gig 3733MHz
processor 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core 17
I keep getting the Apple spinning ball whenever I try to edit sound. The whole system is pretty all over the place unless I have the sound window closed. It's really slowing my workflow with deadlines approaching.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Hey Ian,
I'm sorry to hear about this. Could you share more details on the issue you're experiencing? Does Premiere Pro freeze when you have the Audio Track Mixer opened? Do you see this issue with a specific audio file? We're here to help, just need some more info.
Thanks,
Ishan

Hi Ishan,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Basically if I have the essential sound panel open my workflow is constantly interupted. The apple spinning ball appears for around three minutes. If I close the essential sound everything is okay. If I select an audio clip whne essential sound is open then I get the spinning ball for a few minutes. When editing sound I need to select one clip, wait for the spinning ball to go away and then I can work on the sound for the selected audio clip. I then need to close the essential audio and I copy the preferences to the other audio clips. It would simply take and age to edit each audio clip seperatly due to the spinning ball.
When essential sound is open the spinning ball also sometime appears by simply moving clips on the timeline.
It's really slowing my workflow down.
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Ian
