I have edited a transcribed interview with ChatGPT and then exported it as an EDL. After some trial and error, ChatGPT creates an accurate EDL. When I import this into Adobe Premiere and open the new sequence, it shows the clips trimmed in the timeline. So this obviously worked well. However, the clips have no audio! But the original clip (interview) has audio.
Hence my question: Does anyone know the exact specification for an EDL for Premiere Pro? Is there a specification within the EDL that ensures that video and audio are displayed in the timeline after importing into Premiere?
Hi Kevin,
thanks for your reply.
I actually got it working last night and now I have a complete workflow to cut a complete story with one prompt. In the end I just have to put the off scenes over it and I'm done. That's definitely a game changer

Hi,
Thanks for the post. I've never heard anyone doing this before, so you are in new territory. Can you show us what the EDL looked like? Screenshot of your Sequence Settings, perhaps? I think we might be missing a small detail.
Thanks,
Kevin

Awesome! Can you share your prompt? I'd love to try it out.
Cheers,
Kevin
