Question

Creating a LUT from Multiple Lumetri Instances in Premiere Pro?

Hey everyone,
I’ve got a question regarding LUT creation in Premiere Pro. I’ve applied multiple Lumetri Color effects to a single clip (stacked for different adjustments), and I’m really happy with the final grade. Now I’d like to export that grade as a LUT for reuse.

But here’s the issue: when I go to export a LUT, Premiere seems to only save the first (or one) Lumetri instance, not the combined result of all stacked adjustments.

Has anyone figured out a good workflow to export a LUT that reflects all Lumetri instances on a clip? Any tips or workarounds would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can export stacked LUTs direct from Lumetri in Premiere Pro to a CUBE file.

I've not so far had the need to do that myself but doing a bit of research reveals Magic Bullet LUT buddy to allow multiple LUT manipulation to a single entity.

The utility appears to have been around a while but a 2025 plug in version for Premiere Pro is listed as a download.
Suggest  you search this to see if it helps you.

I'm copying in @R Neil Haugen who has years of experience as a colorist and might be able to help point you in the right direction

The Maxon/RedGiant Magic Bullet LUTBuddy seemed to stop working for about the 2022 build series, but I was able to use it on the 2024 series when I tried. I've not applied it to the 2025 build series.

I'll check that out later today. I'm on the US west coast, be in the shop in a couple hours my time.

And yes, that would allow the use across mulitple Lumetri effects.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
