Creative cloud with no apps open are using 14GB of ram 👀

you can't force quit them, I had to completely uninstall all Adobe apps from my brand new Mac stop M2 Ultra.

this is a serious problem. In addition, seem there are hundreds of peoooe complaining about lag when having a 4k monitor hooked up. Even one, let alone 2.

im seeing threads on this issue going back to 2022, so why is this issue not even recognized by Adobe support in 2024?

seems there's a serious gap in development for the Mseries chips.

I can't even edit a non-4k 2 min video shot on my iPhone 15. This is INSANE

Strange; we haven't seen that. What version of Creative Cloud desktop are you using, on what MacOS version?

Are you saying that installing or removing Creative Cloud apps, using Creative Cloud desktop, actually impacts the amount of RAM in use by Creative Cloud desktop?

If so...can you provide steps we can follow, that reliably reproduce the behavior you're seeing?

There are many ways to encounter and/or introduce lag during playback.

there's a serious gap in development for the Mseries chips.

What leads you to think that? Most PPro mac users are running on M series chips, without issue.

Can you provide a project, with media, that reliably reproduces the lagging issue you're reporting? I sent you (directly) a link to some private upload space.
