Ctrl + (shift +) Left/Ctrl + Backspace not working if caret in last position of text field
This issue has been bugging me for the longest time, create a text layer and start typing within the program monitor, if the caret is in the final position of that text input field, Ctrl + Left/Ctrl + Shift + Left/Ctrl + Backspace no longer function as intended, they simply do nothing (although, ctrl + backspace never works as intended and simply backspaces once). Even if you wipe all keyboard shortcuts from the left key the problem persists.
I can't really imagine a reason for this to be a feature considering as soon as you move the caret one position to the left both normal functions return (and backspace sort of starts working, albeit half way there).
Additionally, attempting to Ctrl + Backspace use to, in previous versions simply create (I assume) a unicode character (the delete character?) which would usually be represented with []. This behaviour is still apparent if you attempt to Ctrl + Backspace in text fields like the Effects panel, export window, etc, although appears to have stopped happening in text boxes in recent versions.
Ctrl + Del also doesn't work as you'd usually expect.
Maybe I'm missing something here but I can't imagine why these basic keyboard functions are blocked/broken like this if that aren't given any other function in return and it's been non functional for as long as I can remember in premiere. Does Premiere really just not map basic windows functionality like this?
