Cursor icon does not change on keypress

Premiere Pro v 23.1

Apple Silicon

The mouse cursor icon does not imediately change upon pressing a keyboard shortcut when hovering over the Timeline.

Say I'm doing work to a Sequence in the Timeline and have the Selection Tool selected. When I move my mouse over a spot that I want to cut, I press 'C' on thte keyboard to access the Razor Tool. Even though the Razor Tool is now technically selected and will cut stuff, my cursor icon still shows the Selection Tool until move the mouse 1 pixel. This happens with every tool. It'd be cool to actually see the cursor icon change when I press the keyboard shortcut. Though this is a very minor productivity issue, it definitely compounds with other minor productivities issues, which I'll post soon.

Thanks!

I have a Mac too. Just right click over a clip in the timeline and it should reset it.

A couple of guesses:

If NVIDIA, try a clean installation of the 517.40 Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).

Try updating the mouse software.

I'm on the Apple Sillicon, MacBook Pro M1 Max. I don't think I have NVIDIA anything currently.
