Hello.

Since 3 weeks aproximatly, i have lags for my cursor timeline.

All the rest is absolutly smooth (same visualisation windows with effects and 1:1 rendering).

I already tried to close windows of effets, lumetri, plug-in, ... I already deleted cache, reinstal Premiere, it's always the same.

Processor and GPU are not full charged when i work.

My config :

Ryzen 9 5950X @4.9Ghz

3080Ti @2150Mhz GPU and 20130 MHz VRam

128Go Ram

Full SSD NVMe

Premiere in last update

Windows 10 in last update

NVidia pilots in last update

Please help me 🙂

I am getting a similar problem. Until a week or so ago my timeline worked fine. Now my cursor is disappearing while performing operations and there is sometimes seconds long lag between moving the mouse and the action happening on the screen.

The problem comes and goes. I have tried restarting my Macbook, clearing cache and render files, and making sure that all other apps are closed. Sometimes clearing render files seems to improve performance but the problem quickly returns.

I have attached a video of adjusting the gain on an audio clip for an example. For the first four seconds it works properly then it suddenly starts to lag. You will see that the PP cursor disappears too. The timeline was not playing while I was adjusting the clip and had not been playing for a few minutes (while I was setting up screen recording), and I am using ProRes proxies. There is nothing unusual about the audio, either.

Thanks

Geoff

What are your media properties?

Have you tried proxies?

My media properties have been exactly the same for 2 or 3 years and I've never needed proxies, so I won't waste my time creating proxies with my huge hardware ^^' I didn't invest in a good material to work on proxies XD

It always worked before, I'm looking for a solution to get back to normal, not to waste time because an Adobe bug is there 😉

If my 4k60 viewing is absolutely smooth in 1:1, there's no reason why this simple damn slider shouldn't be ^^'
