Hi there,

it's my 1st time in Premiere and I'm dealing with metadata ... trying to discover how to insert these fields:

1) Roll ? (It means the number of camera, right?)

2) Scene is in XMP

3) Shot is in XMP

4) Take ?

I'm avery newbye to Premiere and video world... thanks in advance! 🙂

You can customize the metadata display in the Project panel List view, by adding other fields from a MASSIVE list of possibilities. Right-click one of the field titles, and go into the options for adding things from all sorts of types of meta sources. Exif and everything.

Move the fields left/right wherever you want them. Save as a Custom Metadata preset.

You can also do this sort of thing in the Logging or Metadata workspace, whatever they're calling that now. And again, customize the fields viewed. The handy thing there is you can select a number of files, and post metadata to the whole group.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
