Delete 1 image for all rushes in a sequence

Premiere Pro v24.1.0
macOS Sonoma 14.3.1

Good morning,

An administrator advised me to post a message here for my request because no functionality exists on Premiere Pro but there would be a possible alternative with a custom script.

Here's my problem: I just finished my logging on Premiere Pro. And I have a question for you - which will save me a lot of time.

At the start of each rush in my sequence, I delete 1 image (see screenshot). Currently I manually delete each image one by one. It's very long. This is why I would like to know if there is a way to achieve a group action - so that for all the rushes in my sequence; the first image is deleted.

I don't know if I was clear?

Thanks !!

Talked with Lucas; while it'd be possible to do this via scripting, the overhead of creating the scripting solution would take longer than making the changes manually.

Oops, I forgot to attach the photo, it will be clearer that way... I would like to remove 1 image for each of the rushes in my sequence.

Hey there, @Lucas299285977qci,

Thanks for the question. I don't know of a way to automate Premiere Pro to do such a thing, but I suppose a script or a plug-in like Automation Blocks could assist you with that. I'll tag this post with "SDK" so a developer might see your question. I hope the community can help you with a solution. Let us know if the advice helped. Take care.

Thanks,
Kevin
