I'm delivering a feature documentary - and am wondering if this is possible? Basically I need to export a ProRes Master with the 5.1 full mix and mix-minus embedded (each is a self contained 5.1 wav file) and also the same for the stereo mix/mix-minus. So, one file with both stereo and 5.1 embedded.
I created a sequence and set the tracks to multichannel 6 with the first four set for Mono and routed them correctly. Then I set 5&6 as 5.1.
I interpreted the stereo mix files to have two clips and panned them left and right and drug them onto the timeline - that's track 1-4. Everything sounds right. Below them are the two 5.1 mixes on channel 5 and 6.
But, when I go to export - if I set the first four output channels to mono, it does not give me the option to output 5.1 on channel 5&6. If I choose mono for all 6, it simply doesn't export the 5.1 channels.
Does this questions make any sense? Or perhaps what I'm asking is not possible to do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
