Hi,
I don’t have the option to download the previous version (2023) through the Creative Cloud. How can I download it, or where can I find a direct link to install it instead of using the Creative Cloud app?
Thanks

there is no direct link:
Hit other versions and scroll all the way down.

Thanks, Ann, for the reply. The problem is that I don't have the three dots option. Even though 'Show Older Apps' is enabled in my Adobe Cloud, I still don't have that option available.

With the link you downloaded a setup.exe for the version right? If yes then it would be great if you somehow upload that file to a google drive or something I really need it

This is a nightmare. Premiere Pro 2023 and After Effects 2023 were the last versions that supported Rosetta 2 and 3rd party video codecs. So essentially, by Adobe removing the apps from their store for quick download, they are screwing anyone who has a video project that was made more than 4 years ago or used the Go Pro Cineform codecs.

is anyone has the same issue? I need to download an old version of premier pro and I just don't have that option anymore

Yeah, It´s a nightmare from a creative pov. 90s look mini dv and other band-based looks are booming, and Adobe just killed the capture feature all along, not being able to use old versions that were paid for over years. Is there no workaround to somehow still downgrade to 23? @Bruce Bullis 🙏🏻

I am still using version 23. I am told it can still be accessed for now. I am seeing posts that some people have downloaded it, but others either can't download it or it doesn't last when they do. All this could easily be avoided by Adobe, who stubbornly insists that a large group of paying customers should shut up and go away. I am looking at alternative ways to capture legacy video. Adobe has a habit of suddenly 'disappearing' features on the apps. Not cool. And then stubbornly telling dissenters to lump it. Even less cool. Hey Adobe...there are still many users who need to be able to record analog audio and video. It's a fact. It's the main thing my business does, and I have a table full of jobs.

If Windows...
I have NOT used either, but many say to try these for SD capture http://windv.mourek.cz/ or http://www.exsate.com/products/dvcapture/
What I used with some old VHS tapes is http://www.scenalyzer.com/ and it works well, do change the default Fat32 to NTFS setting to not have lots of 4gig files

For anyone else reading this, check VERY carefully when installing a new version... to see if the option to KEEP previous versions is available and selected

Make sure in Creative Cloud Desktop you have FILE/Preferences/Apps - Show older apps - ON
Download 23.6.8 while you can... like soon.

I think the option John T Smith is talking about is the one in the picture below, Remove Older Versions, which must be disabled to avoid situations like Arudz posted, where they say the old version was “auto-uninstalled” during the upgrade. If it auto-uninstalled, it was because the Creative Cloud desktop app installer was set that way. In the picture, Remove Older Versions is disabled, which is what I want. I won’t uninstall an old version until I’m sure I no longer need it.
If Auto-Update is disabled (which I prefer), then when you manually click Update, you must also pay attention when it pops up a box asking you about those same two options before continuing to update. Too many users are in a hurry and just click through without reading what it says it’s going to do, and then they wonder why their settings got reset and their old version disappeared. It’s because it did what it was set to do.

Is it already too late? I do not see the "Show Older Apps" option (under "Settings"). Does anyone know if there are other options?

I've just checked and now 25 is out the oldest you can get via the Creative Cloud App is 24.0. For 23 or earlier you'll need to contact Adobe Support.
