Distorted audio when linking to After Effects

Community Beginner ,

Not sure if this is a bug or if my workflow is the problem, but when working on a project from premier i organized all of the clips, turned it into a composition, edited the clips in after affects, and went back to premier to edit sound, add effects etc. and realized the audio had become distorted. If it helps at all, it sounds like the video was put through an old videogame and played back to me. Is there a reason why this happened and is there a fix to it?

Hmm. Check to see that audio sample settings in source match Premiere Pro sequence settings and comp settings in AE. Something could be amiss if enhance isn't a thing.

Cheers,
Kevin

Hi @knobbi240,

Thanks for the post. You might check to see if you have Enhance Speech enabled. If so, try a test with that feature disabled. If that is not the issue, please let us know. I hope we can help you.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin, I didn't have enhance speech enabled when i heard the distortion, but ive been using it to try and fix the issue lol. Is there any other reason this may be happening?
