Question

Does anyone know why I have an echo when I make an audio recording?

I recently downloaded adobe premiere again since I had formatted my PC and when I am editing and I want to create audio with the microphone, I discover that my own voice of what I say is heard in the speakers, as if it were an echo of a few milliseconds difference to my real voice, how do I eliminate this?

If recording from a microphone, turn off your computer speakers to prevent feedback and echo.

Mute input during recording

Muting input can prevent feedback or echo when the computer is connected to speakers

.Choose Edit > Preferences > Audio (Windows) or Premiere Pro > Preferences > Audio (Mac OS).

Select Mute Input During Timeline Recording.
