Question

Does Premiere Pro not have Clock Wipe on Mac?

Hi!

Does anyone know if the Clock Wipe is hiding somewhere different in Premiere Pro for Macs? I'm used to finding it under Effects > Video Transitions > Wipe > Clock Wipe (see below).

I recently switched from an HP to a Mac, and I'm starting to notice certain functions are unavailable for Premiere Pro that were available on Windows. It's frustrating me to the point that I'm considering returning this Mac. I was excited for the processing power of Macs, but I'm starting to regret my decision.

Thank you! 🙂

Clock wipe is in the Obsolete folder in Windows versions now.

I don't expect it to be available in the next major version at all.

You could look for 3rd party transitions. Film Impact, for example, has a clock wipe for Mac and Windows.

Mac has far less effects than windows.

Clock wipe is most likely one of them.
