Don't move Playhead on stop (equally AE-Function: Move time to preview time)

Hey guys,

after searching in Premiere Pro and google, I can't find that option which I really like from After Effects.

In Premiere Pro I want to Play (spacebar) and when I stop (spacebar), that he is jumping back to that first position.

That you see always the same 😉

In After Effects there is that beautiful checkbox "Move time to preview time" where you can adjust: move there, OR NOT!

Does this exist in Premiere Pro?

Thanks a million.

Stefan

You can playback a certain section by setting an in and outpoint on any portion of the sequence, and then activate the looping function from the buttons at the bottom of the Progam monitor. You may need to make it visible from the hidden icons button via the + sign at the bottom right of the Program monitor.

Is this what you're looking for? Hope this helps.

There is no such feature in PP.  The playhead will remain where it stops.

Thanks for that tip with In and Output, is a good workaround for that function.

Not that nice like in AE but its working well :-)
