Downloaded HAP video on Windows, Not showing on Premiere Pro

Hello!

I downloaded a HAP Quicktime Codec for Windows and want to use it as an export preset on Premiere Pro. However, after downloading it, the HAP Quicktime Codec only appears as an Installer on my desktop. I checked my Premiere Pro project, but the video codec doesn't appear as a preset option. Am I missing a step in the installation process or is there a way to convert the HAP codec into a preset (.epr)?

If anyone has had a similar experience, please let me know. Thanks!

Jacquelyn

    Hello, Ann.

Thanks for replying! I did install it, but when I click the installer, it only gives me the option to change, repair or remove the installer, rather than continue with the process, which is strange. I'm not sure how to proceed.
