Duplicate clips from XML won't consolidate

Question

V25.1I've had to import a timeline from resolve into a project that already has all the footage imported, labelled & sorted into folders etc. However, Premiere Pro will not consolidate the duplicates, I've tried relinking the footage, modifying the audio to all match & bringing the entire XML into a new project - I've also done all this several times in different orders. This is quite a simple task it shouldn't be this hard!

Sometimes you can close and then on relaunch, dump all cache files. THEN do the relinking.

I've had to do that before. Sometimes it helps. The problem is multiple internal links to the file in Premiere's database, and sadly we don't have a way to manually correct that.
