I've been working with Iphone14 footage lately, I know that iPhone HLG clips are automatically detected and all I have to do is drop them onto a Rec. 709 timeline for tone mapped preview. but my problem is in the dynamic link between premiere pro and after effects when I use it the colors get destaturated as I provided the screenshots below, is there any solution to this my? my workflow is really bad.

tone mapped before dynamic link

after using the dynamic link in after effects, this is also what's in my timeline in premiere pro

Hi!

So sorry for this interruption in your workflow. Usually, if you are trying to create a Dynamic Link from Premiere Pro > After Effects, we recommend right-clicking in Premiere and selecting "Replace with After Effects Composition."

However, if you use HLG footage, there is a new way to establish Dynamic Link! Once you are ready to take your Premiere Pro file to After Effects, launch After Effects so you have both apps open at once.

In After Effects, use the toolbar at the top to go to File>Adobe Dynamic Link>Import Premiere Pro Sequence. Select your project to establish Dynamic Link and edit as usual. Hope that helps! We will work on Dynamic Link to improve the workflow.
