Dynamic Linking washes out colors

Hello everyone,

For the last few months, I've been desperately trying to solve this problem - when I dynamically link a Premiere Pro project to another adobe program, it washes out colors. I know it's dynamic linking the issue because it does the same thing when I use media encoder and after-effects.

The most striking effect is the blacks look much lighter than they should be. However, when I export through Premiere, the colors are just fine. Does anybody know how to fix this issue? I've looked through the Forum again and again, and nothing seems to solve my problem.

Thank you.

Thank you Neil for the prompt answer.

I tried changing the color settings in After Effects but I'm not sure I did it properly. I went to File -> Project Settings > Color. I then changed the "Assume Working Gamma" from 2.2 (sRGB) to 2.4 (Re.709). Nothing changed. I then went into "Working Space" and changed from "None" to "Re.709 gamma 2.4" and no change.

I guess I'm doing something wrong?

You need to have the right color settings in the other apps. Premiere is straight video sRGB/Re.709, gamma 2.4 presuming100 nits brightness on the monitor. Stock broadcast.

The other apps have various other settings available. You need to change to the same as Premiere.
