Edit Workspaces

I edited the workspace menu, but it's not applying to the dropdown menu---is that how the feature is intended to work? 

 

Premiere 24.2.1, Mac Sonoma

When you change your layout for a new workspace, you need to save as a new workspace with a new name. Did you do that?

Hi Neil, I'm referring to the drop-down menu. In "edit workspaces," I moved options to "Do Not Show," but they are still showing in the drop-down menu.

Huh. I've got nine custom workspaces, and moved MOST of the built-ins to the do not show ... 

 

One thing, notice in the top menu drop-down list of workspaces they have a number and keyboard short? If you put say 01 for a workspace name, like 01 Edit, it will will be the top workspace in the menu list ... but more useful, it now has a keyboard shortcut to get to it.
