Editing 4K SDR and HDR footage

Good afternoon all

For the last month I have been working with 4K sdr and hdr assets. Im suffering the following problem:

When I edit the video with the proxies, I see a big sync problem between the proxy and the native file. I mean, I am editing with the proxy but when I toogle the proxy button, what I see is differente from what I saw in the proxy. Can anyone help me with this problem? as there is not reason to edit with proxy if the footage is different at render for this sync problem

Thanks in advance

Have you used one of the included Cineform proxy presets?  If not, start over and do so.

Have you modified the frame rate of any of the clips? the Proxies will be out of sync if you do...

I didn´t. It seem that is working fine using cineform proxies and specially doing render from a sequence in premiere rather than after effects

I will try them. For the moment I was using the standard h264 proxy.

Do you think this could be also the reason to have drops and black frames during the renders?

Thanks in advance

Try it.  Report back.
