editing a template in Premiere Pro

Hello -

I'm running Premiere Pro v22.1.1 on a MacBook Pro 2019 running Monterey 12.0.1

I recently licensed the following motion graphic template from adobe stock: Asset: #461089130 (Frozen Magical Logo Title - https://stock.adobe.com/templates/frozen-magical-logo-title/461089130).

I opened it in Premiere Pro just fine.

I edited the text, color, etc. Not an issue.

But I cannot figure out how to delete or hide their place-filler logo. I do not want to replace it with another image. I simply want to delete it.

Can anyone help?

Hi All,

Thanks so much for your help. I got a response from the template maker. Some of you were on the right track with solutions that would work. Here's what they said, which I hope helps others with the same issue in the future (I went with the second part of their advice that I put in bold below):

When you click down the logo control in the Essential Graphics Panel you can then select an image (or video) from your Media browser window in Premiere Pro. Simply click and drag it over the temporary logo control in the Essential Graphics Panel and it will replace the default logo with your own.

I would advise that you use a transparent logo like a png file.

If you want to remove the logo altogether first replace the temporary logo with your own and then double click on it in the Essential Graphics Panel. This will open up a new sequence, whatever you add into this sequence will be added to the mogrt. So hide all elements in the sequence to remove the logo.

I really don't know why the mogrt creator wasn't able to add a checkbox control

usnig a simple expression inside After Effects that enables the video editor

to simply check and uncheck the logo inside Premiere Pro. (attached video)

Great, but as I said before, the fastest way is to create a transparent video using the "New Item" button at the bottom of the Project panel and drag it to the logo thumbnail of the template in the essential graphics panel

Create an empty photoshop file and use it in your template to replace the logo.. hope it works for you.
Edit: even better, create a transparent video (click on create new item at the bottom of the project panel), and drag this transparent video to replace the image in the essential graphics panel

you can pm me the mogrt if you want..

customizing mogrts inside after effects is not an easy thing to do for someone who is new to it.

this will take me a few minutes to do (for free)

did you try to contact the mogrt creator?

Thank you. I should clarify that I am an intermediate user in Premiere Pro and a noob at After Effects. I like this templates because they are usually plug-n-play, but I cannot figure out how to hide various elements. When I open it in After Effects, the file is very intimidating. I'm not sure where to begin, nor how to export back as a MOGRT file.
