Editing Tab Bug???

So I have been having an issue with my Premier Pro cc 2018 and I just had updated it. When ever I press the Editing tab on the top toolbar all the panels disappear and theres no way of going back to any other tabs. Its really annoying since I have multiple projects i'm suppose to edit for school. If anyone else has this problem or know how to fix it please let me know.

When the screen goes blank, go the menu Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout.
