Effects keyframes not working

I've seen that people have had issues with keyframes not working when changing opacity or scale in the Effects Controls panel, but I think this also extends to all effects that you can add on to your clips.

I'm currently on a work project using the Gaussian Blur effect on a clip, and no matter how many keyframes I use,  I can't see the desired effect in the program window. The numercial values are changing as expected however, so it seems to know what I want it to do at least.

I've seen various work arounds on here but none work. Even after upgrading to the latest version of PP it still exists.

Is there anything I've missed? A solution on the horizon to fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Creating a new project and then importing actually did the trick!

Thank you so much for your help and support 🙂 I've learnt a lot in the process.

I didn't even have it in the toolbar! It is there now though so I appreciate the prompt 🙂

Try pressing Enter to render the timeline and turn the red line above the timeline to green.

If that's not it, try unchecking Composite in linear color in the sequence settings.

I really appreciate the pointers, however both of those didn't solve the issue unfortunately.

I will add that I can see the effect when NO keyframes are added; I can see any changes I make to the whole clip. It's only when I start adding in the keyframes that I run into this frustrating problem.

Thank you.

Are the keyframes linear?

Can you post a screenshot of the Motion Properties panel showing the keyframes?
