Is my pc automatic sleep prevented while encoding?

    I would recommend not using Sleep or Hibernate on an edit system.  Screen savers are OK, but leave it at full power always.

    Ok. Can I make a new user account for editing that has such power settings or are power settings universal?

    For software at this level, I do recommend a dedicated editing system.  Use a second machine for other, non-editing activity.
