Hello

Running Cloud 2021.
Be nice to use Encore as this non profit outfit enjoys creating DVDs.

Odd that Adobe pushed this wonderful application out the door.


I thought Encore CS6 could be located in CC. I did look for older versions. Nothing.
I elected to install Encore using Creative Suite DVD.  During the install I was prevented from
installing because of 'adobenotificationclient.exe' issue. End the task in Task Manager did not work.
If I can get Encore CS4 to install that would be good news!

What's to do?

If you get it to install, you may not get past the trial, since the activation servers for CS4 have been shut down.

There, however, have been some folks able to do an installation and activation on a computer that never had CS4 installed previously.

Encore gets mentioned at least once a month. Adobe should have a replacement for Encore. DVD and Blu-ray discs are still needed.

      Thanks for everyone posting.

      I'll mark Peru as correct with a comment.

       

      When I started to install I thought it to be uncomplicated. There were issues.

      I am working with new HP computers with CC 2021. I assumed Encore came with CC.

      I do happen to have older HP computers on the shelf running windows 7 with CS6 Mastersuite. 
      Legacy is good....

      I'll just need to turn on the old machines - and do the Encore work on them. 

      At least I do have options.

      Encore CS6 (or rather Premier CS6) is no longer available in the CC app.

       

      You need to do what the error message says: close the applications (use the Task Manager).

      General practice before installing any application is to reboot machine, install app, reboot machine.

      That's the issue

      I did 'close the app' in task manager. The app was no longer visible. 

      And after closing the install keeps generating that message.

      You don't say: after closing using task manager, did you restart the computer? I don't see how this could be running if you start the install after restarting the computer.
