No clue. So ... a few questions.

Which PrPro are you using (number-dot-number SPECIFIC), and OS/CPU/RAM/GPU, and the number and type of drives connected and in use on that machine. As this is an exporting problem, also ... the amount of free space on the drive you are exporting to, and what is the anticipated final file size of the export? As PrPro will typically need 4-5 times the final file size free during the export process, this can be an issue.

What is on that seqeunce ... media, effects, what? What is the source media specifically for format/codec? And how was it created ... camera, phone, drone, screen-grab, what?

As in something like this ...

6-core iXXX with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia 1050 GPU. Three internal SSD'S, and one external 2TB spinning disc connected via USB3. Exporting to an internal SSD with 180GB free, export expected to be around 4GB. Running PrPro 12.1.2. Project was started in 12.1.2 also, so not upgraded from an earlier version.

Original media is 1920x1080 ALL-Intra from a GH3 camera with some warp and Lumetri color applied, video noise reduction on a couple clips, in mov.

Ann was referring to the time part of your error messages. For many things when you are given a time point or range in an error message what is needed is going to that time in the sequence and figuring out what is not working correctly and fixing that.

Something useful to know.

If the error message includes the comment something like "around 00:08:33:17" of "between" two number sets, those are time-stamps. In this example, eight minutes, 33 seconds, and 17 frames.

So this seems to be a generic error for M.E. Resetting worked once for me then on another issue the error was persistant. In my case I was attempting to export 35 or so sequnces to que which would all fail with this error to no fix. I ran a single sequence and found that the error was that the source wasnt kosher with the setting I was using which caused M.E. to shoot that error. I Fixed it by setting the encoder correctly and matching source ans it stopped erroring.

Would you be able to talk a rookie through this in a little more detail? I'm having the same problem but I don't know how to set the encoder so that it is happy with the source.

Mine always gets stuck at 50%. I have a video in the sequence around the half way mark which is sped up 1000%. Could that be causing this error?

Thanks.
