Question

Error compiling movie - Render Error - code -1609629695

I have been having ongoing issues with rendering out a particular video project in Premiere after I updated to CC 2019. The last time i managed to render it out fully i had to uninstall Premiere, Media Encoder and After Effects and re-install it before it would allow me to render the file out. Tried it again when the issue came up and it didn't work. I have tried making a new project and importing the sequence into the project, different codecs, restarting the computer etc with no success.

I have also tried googling and YouTubing the error code and render issues from others and no methods as far have worked.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi jordanvanezis,

Sorry about your issue. I understand that you are unable to export a video from Adobe Premiere Pro. Please answer the following questions so that we can understand and troubleshoot it better:

  • Please share the system specifications of your computer.
  • Does the export crash at a particular timecode?
  • Have you applied any particular effect which is making it crash?

Additionally, please try changing the video renderer and then try to export.  FAQ: How to change the Video Renderer in Premiere Pro?

Let us know if it helps.

Thanks,

Shivangi

Didn't see this until after my post. I'm getting this same error and have tried the typical methods of trying to solve the problem; however, to no avail. Wondering if there is now a known cause to this error? It's got an error code but I can't seem to find any documentation as to what that error code actually means?
