Essential Graphics doesn't work (Premiere 2022)

Hi, I use a package of Essential Graphics regularly for my workflow, yesterday they just stop working. Premiere marks them as unlinked, so I tried to relink the "aegraphic", but the app just crashes and stops responding.

I reinstalled an old version, cleaned the cache, and removed the preferences, but the problem persists, I'm just not able to use the Essential Graphics. Has this happened to any of you? Thanks in advance for your help.

Exactly what version/build of Premiere Pro and After Effects do you have installed?

There was a known issue with MOGRTs in Premiere Pro 22.0.0 in combination with After Effects 22.0.0. Make sure you update both Premiere Pro and After Effects to the latest versions and try again.

Thanks, Thomas, it might be related. I updated Premiere after the problem just started, now I have version 22.1.2, and AE is 22.1.1. It seems to be working after updating and rebooting everything, I also tried reintegrating the Essential Graphics from scratch, into the EG module, and into the timeline. I hope it keeps working. Thanks!

AN UPDATE ON THIS.

The next time I opened Premiere, the problem appeared again. The same graphic seems to be unlinked, and when I try to link it to the aegraphic file, Premiere just crashes. I saw it's kind of a thing for M1-based computers, have you found another way around? Thanks.

Hi Javi_ero!

Sorry about the crash. Are you getting any error codes or messages? Could you share your system details (OS, CPU, RAM, GPU)?

Does it happen with a specific file?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

Hey, thanks for answering. Premiere doesn't give any message, it only stops responding. I noticed that it's the aerendercore the one that stops working.

I'm working on a new Macbook Pro M1 Ro 2022 (Apple M1 Pro, Monterrey12.0.1, 10 cores. 16 GB).  And yes, it happens with only one of the graphics.

Thanks!
