Hello,

What has your dev team done with the "Essential Graphics" panel - don't you people ever think about existing users!!!!!!!

Thanks

P.S Prem Pro24 was superior.

Correct answer Ann Bens

The ESP is now the Properties Panel and the Effect Controls.

Templates are stored in the Graphics Templates Panel.

I can't even access the acutal area to put in graophics into mogrt files anymore... the whole layout does not make any sense. Why di you make your software worse. Evolution of software is supposedto imporove not destory it useability for functions.

Millions of people are using it. You can do it too.

The Graphics and Text Workspace is the place to start. Are you starting there? If so, make sure nothing is selected in the timeline or Program monitor, and then the Properties panel shows a little "create new graphic" box in the lower left corner.

Or the Graphics and Titles menu, "New Layer" ... gives options for text, vertical text, rectangle, ellipse, polygon, and from file. Click any of those, and a new graphic item is created above the clip under the CTI.

Then the Properties panel shows the text and whatnot tools.

With nothing selected, the lower left corner has

Ok, it's pretty confusing at first. Due to the Properties panel being "context aware".

The EGP has disappeared, it seems, and they say use the Properties panel. Right.

But when you bring it up, it's empty. Ok, click on a clip, you see the framesize, anchor point/position stuff is all. Huh? Where is everything?

Well ... now click on a mogrt or graphics clip, and ... all you see in the Properties panel is the position stuff. You still don't see the EGP controls.

But ... when you  click in the Program monitor, on an item inside that mogrt/graphic clip ... suddenly, the Properties Panel shows the entire contents of the old EGP.

Yea, that is a very, very different practice now.

The same thing happened to me; it didn't show up in properties or anywhere else. had to restart, and then it appeared in properties.

Thanks for the relpy but why, what the rationale. I would have thought, majority of people using the software are in a working environment, we don't have the luxury of faffing around. Pointless updates are a hinderence and certainly don't help with the workflow. Perhaps concentrate on the already existing bugs and sort them out before having a fullscale "tinker" / playaround. Thanks as always 😉

I completely agree with the above comments. STOP messing around with pointless updates! Your latest has convinced me to recommend we stop using Adobe Premiere Pro in the next financial year. You've wasted my work time today and that will cost you subscribers.
