Essential sound panel presets missing

Hi all,

Since the new update of 11.1 I wanted to test the new essential sound panel, but I have no presets available to work from. Also the match loudness will not work.

On other machines at my work, the presets are available. Even when uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere 11.1 they are not available.

Is there a possibility to manually copy these presets from other machines?

    Here is the solution:

    - close premiere

    - go to documents>Adobe>Premiere pro>12.0>Profile-'user'>Settings [windows version]

    - there is a folder names "EssentialSound"

    - MOVE this folder anywhere else (on the desktop for example) - don't copy: move it

    - restart premiere: this folder would be recreated automatically

    For me it works

    Hope it helps

    regards

I am on version 25.0. I followed the instructions that seemed to work for everyone else, but I still don't have a loudness option or auto match option in the Essential Sounds panel. Is there anyone else on version 25.0 having this issue and how do I solve it?

Well, it magically solved itself. I did the above steps that everyone else did a few times. After opening and closing it about 4 or 5 times, it finally fixed itself. Frustrating, but glad it works now.

This is still an issue in December 2023 and am still using this hack to fix it.  SITFO adobe.

This does not work, at least on the Enterprise edition. The Essential Sound folder was not recreated automatically.

Yes. I tried the steps mentioned above and it didn't work. Any updates on resolving the issue. I've been on the line over an hour waiting to connect with customer service.

i am missing the music presets like "balanced background music",  When i tried doing the procedure described here, move the essential sound folder, it does not recreate the folder on PP restart and the presets do not show up again.  I am trying an update to CC and see if that works.

Essential sound panel presets missing in PREMIERE PRO CC 2020

PRESETS NOT APPEAR. There is no Audio presets e.g. Balanced Male Voice, Balanced Female Voice, From Distanse, From Telefone etc. (on dialogue, music, SFX, ambience) in Premiere Pro cc 2020. I work on Premiere ver. 2020/14.4.0 (build 38). The sequence I am working on is a 2160p on a "very low budget" independend feature documentary. How I can obtain and/or install?
(In the opposite, in my cheaper laptop with version 14.0.2 (BUILD 104) where I attended the lesson of Adobe "Working with Audio" these presets appear normally.)
