Essential sound panel presets missing

New Here ,
Apr 25, 2017 Apr 25, 2017

Hi all,

Since the new update of 11.1 I wanted to test the new essential sound panel, but I have no presets available to work from. Also the match loudness will not work.

On other machines at my work, the presets are available. Even when uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere 11.1 they are not available.

Is there a possibility to manually copy these presets from other machines?

Here is the solution:

- close premiere

- go to documents>Adobe>Premiere pro>12.0>Profile-'user'>Settings [windows version]

- there is a folder names "EssentialSound"

- MOVE this folder anywhere else (on the desktop for example) - don't copy: move it

- restart premiere: this folder would be recreated automatically

For me it works

Hope it helps

regards

I also have thew same problem and would love an answer. Every since I recently updated it has added the essential sound panel but none of the presets. Please answer as soon as possible as they are sooo useful!

Hi, it's work for me on V22.0!
May try again?
C:\Users\(MyUserName)\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\22.0\Profile-(MyUserName)\Settings\
and will see the "Default" folder and "EssentialSound" subfolder. There's many file in "EssentialSound" folder, may you will find some dialogue setting file, like "Clean Up Noisy Dialogue.essentialsound"
"Cut" out the "EssentialSound" subfolder, make sure you "move" it out, then go to somewhere like desktop.
"Paste" it on another paith, somewhere.
Restart Premiere Pro
when you not see the "EssentialSound" in Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\22.0\Profile-(MyUserName)\Settings\Default.
IF this still not work for your 22.0, then you may try to reset (trash) preferences. Thanks to Ann Bens repost this FAQ
AND try "MOVE" preset folder out again?
I saw Dialogue Presets back after this step. Wish you may make it work today!
regards - Martin
