Essentials Graphic missing from 2025 properties panes and Windows workspaces. MGRTs are not editable now.

Correct answer R Neil Haugen

It's now just Graphics  workspace.

And we don't have the Essential Graphics as a separte panel, they've rebuilt so the Properties panel is where you change/set properties. It's totally "context aware" which is confusing at first.

So ... select a mogrt on the sequence, the Properties panel just shows the position/size/center points.

Click on some object in that mogrt in the Program panel, suddenly the Properties panel shows what we saw in the EGP, and all the controls, layer stack, everything are there.

I've found the essential graphics tools in the Effect Controls window and all seems pretty straight forward, other than the fact this was a completely needless change. I have discovered though that the auto-alignment tool appears to be missing. Can someone direct me to where I can find this? This was one of my most common go to tools that now appears to have vanished.

To repeat, it's in the highly context aware Properties panel.

ALL the old EGP controls and maybe a couple new things now reside there. Click a text item on screen and they will appear in the Properties panel.

And yes, it's confusing at first. Very confusing.

But what about EXPORTING/SAVING a NEW MOGRT? That functionality seems totally absent now.

Hello. I experienced the same issue. I’m also sad to hear that the vehicle was lifted. The problem of not having any options appear on the Properties panel and being unable to change the font and color was resolved by closing the current panel and re-adding the Properties tool from the Windows menu.

I have the same issue with the subtitles and with the text - it's frustrating, especially when I need to work fast on my tasks. I do not understand the purpose of changing the system if it worked fine and I do not see any advantages of it

How do I change the font color? I clicked on everything and activated everything what I could - it's just not logical and the color adjustment property just does not appear

Can't say I love this change. I have to search for it every time I open Premiere. It doesn't seem intutitive.. but maybe it's just me. Seems like a lot more clicks to do the samething...

You do need to work with the different Workspace setup. Then it's pretty similar.

What about scrolling text? i can't find it anywhere? i tried effect controls and properties.

It seems that you are unable to find the scrolling text option in the Effect Controls and Properties panels. Scrolling text is typically created using the "Text" tool and keyframes or by using the "Rolling Credits" preset, depending on the software you're working with (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you create scrolling text:

  1. Using Premiere Pro:

    • Create Text: Select the Text tool (T) and click on your program window to type the text you want to scroll.
    • Apply Motion: Go to the Effect Controls panel and find the "Position" property under Motion. Set keyframes to animate the position of your text. For a vertical scroll, adjust the Y-axis position; for horizontal, adjust the X-axis.
    • Use "Rolling Credits": If you're using Premiere Pro, you can also use the built-in "Rolling Credits" template by going to Graphics > New Layer > Text and then choosing Roll from the text options.
  2. Using After Effects:

    • Create Text: Use the Text tool (Ctrl+T) to add your text.
    • Animate: In the timeline, animate the position of the text using keyframes. Set the first keyframe at the start of your timeline and the last one at the end of the timeline for the scroll effect.
    • Pre-sets: After Effects also provides a scrolling text preset (such as Credit Roll) that can be applied from the Animation Presets menu.

Just updated to 2025. Somehow I am able to edit the MGRTs but they won't show up in my exports at all--it displays the missing media graphic or nothing. I hope Adobe clears this up ASAP.
