Everytime when i start rendering Premiere crashing

Hello people, I've built a new PC, and every time I try to render a video, Premiere Pro crashes out of nowhere. It starts off well, reaching 30%, with all fans running at full speed to keep the machine cool. Suddenly, the fans begin to slow down, as if the rendering is complete. Shortly after, about 8 seconds later, Premiere Pro crashes. I've tried everything – a fresh installation of Windows 11, installed all the latest updates, tried new RAM sticks (just in case), completely disassembled the computer for a thorough inspection but found nothing unusual. I've also applied new thermal paste, but nothing seems to help.

The export settings are as follows: 2 MP4 video formats - the first is a facecam recording at 25fps (captured with Sony A6700 in Slog3), color-graded; the second is a gameplay video at 4k 60fps. The gameplay video underwent a standard edit with only color grading and nothing else special.

Format: H.264

Frame size: UHD (3840x2160)

Frame rate: 60

Field Order: Progressive

Aspect: Square Pixels (1.0)

Render at Maximum Depth - OFF

Use maximum Render Quality - OFF

Time Interpolation: Frame Sampling

Performance: Hardware Encoding

Profile: Main

Level: 5.2

Export Color Space: Rec 709

The rest of the settings are untouched.

I also tried H.265 but with no luck.

Are you using the Studio or the default Gaming driver?

try to reset to base clock setting, i tried this and its working for me now just turn off intel turbo boost technology and turbo boost from bios it will set the default clock speed to 3 ghz, i think there is some overclock issue with premiere on k series processor mine is intel i7 14700k

Thank you my friend, you saved me a lot of time. For 2 months I have been struggling with Premiere Pro crashing during rendering. I disable turbo boost of the CPU in the BIOS and a successful rendering of an hour-long movie for the first time. Of course render is slower but it doesn't matter now, You saved me a lot of time, I wish you all the best in life.

I faced a similar issue but managed to find a solution in the end, even though the Adobe executive couldn't help. My problem arose while working with complex graphics and morgt files that relied on hardware encoding and GPU. They kept crashing at the same point during rendering. After some digging, I discovered the culprit was the Nvidia codec.

Here's what I did: first, I made sure to turn off H.264/HEVC hardware encoding, as shown in the attached screenshot. When I tried turning it on, it crashed again, but turning it off worked fine. I suggest giving rendering a shot using the QuickTime codec. If it works, it means there's an issue with Nvidia's hardware acceleration. After identifying the problem, you can turn off both settings.
