Export 60fps from a 30fps timeline

Hi,

I have a problem with the output. My timeline is 30fps but I'm also using 60fps footage. I wanted to export the video in 60fps so the 60fps footage stays smooth. However even after setting the frame rate to 60 the footage was still 30fps.

The problem isn't there when I first drop the 60fps footage and then the 30fps footage. Is there a way around this so I don't have to start over?

    You must work in a 60p Sequence to retain the 60 frames per second. If you put 60p video into a 30p Sequence, the video then becomes 30p and exporting as 60p will not get the extra frames back. Just like if you put a 4k clip into a 1080p Sequence, then export as 4k, the 4k clips in the timeline are treated as 1080p being blown up to 4k and will not retain all the original quality.

    In your current 30p sequence, do Ctrl-A to Select All (should highlight everything in timeline). Then Ctrl-C to Copy everything. Now create a New Sequence, and make it 60p (all other parameters matching first sequence). In that sequence, Ctrl-V to Paste everything over from original sequence. Edited sequence should be an exact copy of original, except 60p clips should stay 60p when exporting 60p now.
