Using the new essential graphics panel, I created a custom bottom third graphic with animations and such. I want to be able to use it in other projects. I followed these steps:
- Create graphic.
- Insert the graphic onto my timeline.
- Right Click my mouse
- Export as Motion Graphics Template
- Title it and Save to my local drive.
- Then I opened a new project.
- Click the Install Motion Graphics Template button.
- Find the file in my folder.
- Open.
- The graphic imports fine (I think.) The graphics appear in the essential graphics window. You can see the image below, the orange is the lower third I created.
- I drag the graphic to my timeline.
- Here's where I am getting the issue. When it is put on my timeline, it appears empty. There are no graphics, no layers, nothing.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a better way to use Graphics over multiple projects? (Or a way that actually works?
Thanks

It seems to just have affected the one graphic in particular. It took me a while to create, and wanted to make sure it wouldn't happen if I spent the time to re-create it. But everything seems to be in order now. I created a new one, and it can be used across multiple projects.

Hi,
I could not reproduce this issue. Can you try this same workflow, but create the graphics in a new project? Let us know how that goes.
Thanks,
Kevin

I am getting this issue constantly. Almost enough that I am ready to give up on Adobe and find another product. Spending hours to create something the only works once is useless.

I'm not having any issues with creating MOGRTs either in PrPro or AfterEffects. So it would seem you might be missing a step somewhere, which is easy as this is not necessarily an intuitive process.
My one suggestion is rather than saving to a "local file", save to your Library.
But ... what are the precise steps in order you go through to create your graphics, and which parts don't make it through to the final re-use?

Well as of late I have been creating in PPro CC and using. I started having issues with varies ones not working a few weeks back but usually found away around it. Last edit I had to create 2 new graphics from scratch because nothing would load. I save those and moved on. I just edit another video and nothing in the Essential Graphics Panel is working. Not graphics I have made nor the stock graphics in the panel. I just did some quick stuff to get the vlog done but in the end I am not happy with not having my much more extensive graphics. So frustrated with the who process right now as I can't even talk to support till Monday.
