Export only audio channel that I need?

Hello!

I do editing with 8 audio channels.

When I finish my project, I have to export everything in 2 final products.

The first must be in multichannel with the 8 separate audio channels ... easy !!!

The second export should only contain channels 7 and 8. Ouch! How can I export channels 7 and 8 only in stereo mode and not in multichannel mode. It's impossibe in the audio dialog box of Media Encoder to put the source channel you want?

Is my question clear?

For professionals, my example will be easier. I go up with 8 channel in multichannel because there is 5.1 (surround) on tracks 1 to 6 and stereo on tracks 7 and 8. When my project is finished, I export in 8 tracks multichannel for broadcast .. I know how to do it! But how can I export a quicktime with only the stereo (tracks 7 and 😎 without the first 6?

Thanks!

Daniel

    Correct answer Kib

You have 8 audio tracks in premiere right?

Disable Tracks 1 through 6 in Premiere and export to a stereo output.  Only 7 and 8 will come through.

Also have you panned tracks 7 & 8 to the left and right?

    Hello!

I just tested. It works but I have to assign in the audio mixer my tracks 7 and 8 to channel audio 1 and 2 in the same time that 7 and 8 for the output. Because when exporting to stereo, the output only takes channels 1 and 2. Do not confuse channel and track.

After, I must not forget to unchek the channels 1 and 2 assignment because this will affect the total mix.

    Thanks !!!!!

    Try a Stereo Submix

    ensure submix is Channel 1&2

    send panned tracks 7&8

then hopefully you can toggle the sends instead of changing channel assignments
