Export using plug-in encoder

I want to export a project from Pre Pro 22.5 using a plug-in encoder like Voukoder or Staxrip to achieve better quality H.264 than is normal with Pre Pro. How do I do it?

Premiere uses Mainconcept.

I tried Voukoder but could not get it to work. Dont know the other one..

I have been frameseving to TMPG Encoder for years.

Oh, that's right ... and there's another plugin for encoding I've seen now that my brain's engaged!

From everything I've seen, ShutterEncoder and Handbrake do essentially the same things, but Handbrake's UI is rather ancient and takes some messing about with it to figure out what things do.

ShutterEncoder has a newer more "obvious" UI.

Those two and ffmpeg are all very similar in the final results. It's the UI that is different.

Thanks. I've done lot's of tests and the results of Shutter Encoder look exactly the same from 50000 bitrate to 500, but in Handbrake it looks good all the way up to quality 36, but above that it deteriorates badly.The only thing I don't understand in Handbrake is De-interlace and Decomb. Presumably they are never used for progressive? but should they be used for interlaced?

You can't use a separate app as an encoder with PrPro. I do know a number of editors that export a Master Final in say ProRes or DNx, then go to ffmpeg, ShutterEncoder or Handbrake where they have their own presets for t-coding the master to the H.264 deliverable.
