Export Video Formats that will play on all TV brands

Hi All,

Finally finished my project, exported (H.264 etc.) and transferred onto USB! Soon as I plug my USB into my LG TV, "Video Format Not Supported". So, I did a little research and what do you know! .MOV format is not supported on LG. Meaning I need to export to a different video format (not an issue).

But this got me thinking - is there not at least one format that is applicable to all major TV brands (Samsung/Sony/LG/Panasonic)?
