Exported Video files not viewable

my last  exports from Premier pro say they have exported fine.... but! All I get as a windows  file Icon is a small bar at the top and a black screen. When played the audio is fine, but the video is just a series of vertical coloured bands down the screen. I've checked the outputs are consistent from previous projects. The video won't play either within Premier Pro or on Windows Media player.
Is it possible there's a codec problem crept in and how can I address it?

Can you please share a screen shot or a screen recording of the issue?

Try turning off Hardware encoding in the Video tab of the export settings.

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Hi John32203059oeiv

Want to gather some information to help you better.
Which format are you exporting to (h264/hevc) ?  Which GPU card and driver version you are using ?
