Exporting 23.97 to 29.97 dropframe timecode

Hi I'm working witha 1080p 23.98 video file and need to export 1080i 29.97 with dropframe timecode.  When I set up my sequence setting I set it to 29.97 drop frame.  My timeline shows dropframe ; adnd wehn I switch to export my source shows dropframe but my output shows non drop :  when I eport it is n=ineed non-drop.  I cannot seem to get that output setting to change to dropframe no matter how I set up my export settings. - which is 29.97 upper field etc.

I can get it to covert to 29,97 with the correct pull down but I cannot seem to get the timecode to be dropframe.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi So, none of these suggestions seemed to work for me.  I was able to find a woraround. If I send the proeject to Media Ecoder and export from there magically the DF timecode carries over and works fine.

So even setting the specific of drop-frame into the Timecode setting option didn't help?

There's an option in the Preferences for showing Drop or Non-Drop ... have you checked that?
