Hey guys, I'm re-uploading a documentary with some updates that our production company had broadcast on TV here in Ireland back in January and the channel are looking for an MXF with an XML sidecar with the following specifications: https://imgur.com/eu5QAxy
My issue as you can see from the screenshot is that the .XML file metadata isn't being read by their upload portal. In fact, Premiere will only create an .XMP sidecar alongside the MXF and the only option i can see in Premiere for .XML is to separately export a 'Final Cut Pro XML' which I don't think will suffice.
I believe I mostly have the correct export settings for my MXF exporting an MXF OP1A with the codec: XDCAMHD 50 PAL (4:2:2).
I've even edited the metadata fields in the export window to fill in what they're looking for but I think the Premiere XMP sidecar file just can't be read even if I "convert" it into an XML format.
Am I fooling myself to think I can do this in Premiere, is this more suited to AVID? We outsourced this to a post house originally for the first broadcast but my company doesn't want to outsource this time and we only work on the adobe suite.
Any help you guys can offer me would be hugely appreciated! Thank you

Hi There,
In the same boat here, I believe the metadata can be successfully embedded in the mxf in the manner you are describing, how did you manage to make an xml sidecar?
