Exporting Premiere Pro to MP4

I have created a video of ~ 1 hour. I insert "in" and "out" markers and then exported the file to mp4 format.

The problem is that the video gets exported BUT another ~1 hour of blank is added to make an ~2 hour mp4 file. Don't know what I am doing wrong. Hope someone can help. Thanks. Alan
