The goal is to be able to include or exclude any metadata columns when exporting.
Over in Avid this functionality is controlled by the "Bin View", i.e. the selection of column headers currently visible determines which data is exported and the order in which those columns are laid out in the export list.
The equivalent approach in PPRo would be to choose which metadata columns are visible, but this currently has no effect on what data is or is not included in the export.
