Exports sound but no video

It plays the video in the playback but when I export it shows no video, I have exported another video and it exported fine but it still exported this project with no video. When i say render in and out at the sequence tab it shows the playback as black, I'm not sure if that is linked to the problem. I use the same setting exporting the first and second video but only the first one is having this problem.

There's not enough information here to help solve your problem. Could you please post a screenshot of your Export Settings window when you are having the issue? Is the Video box checked at the very top? Of the two projects where one video exports and the other shows black, is the source media a different format?

I used the same preset for both videos and previously I had no problem.

I copied the whole timeline and pasted into a new project and now the export is showing the video

Glad you found a solution. Sometimes a project can get corrupted and importing your data into a new project can help, and other times a setting might have been accidentally changed, so it's easier to just start from scratch if you can't find the problem.
