【Fact Check】Question about Adobe CC's activation detection and offline mode
Hello all,
At my workplace, my colleagues need to use Premiere Pro offline to edit videos due to the principle of confidentiality.
I know that Adobe provides an offline mode for users to operate the software in this situation. According to the official statement, as long as you install and activate it in a place with Internet access, log in to the purchased plan to complete the verification, you can use software offline countinusly for 30 days without being bothered by verification.
But now I have a serious problem.
Because the edited materials must be placed on the internal network for these workers to access, the computers are actually still connected to the Internet. It seems that because of this, Adobe CC will constantly try to verify the legitimacy of the software and will not allow colleagues to continue using the software after a while.
Considering the working hours of this confidential operation and the fact that the machine is too far away from the nearest connection port of the Internet, it is impossible for me to keep moving the machine to a place with Internet access and reactivate it.
I have two questions to ask:
- Does Adobe CC's activation detection and offline mode switching judgment depend on whether the network port is plugged in a network cable?
- Is there any offline enablement solution that allows the aforementioned environment?
Hope someone can help me to fix it. Thanks.
