Failed to connect to Adobe After Effects Dynamic Link

Hello,

I am trying to important some After Effects compositions into my Premiere Pro timeline. Whenever I try and initiate it either from the After Effects side or the Premiere side I get this error message: Failed to connect to Adobe After Effects Dynamic Link.

I am running an M2 Macbook. When I used to edit on my PC desktop I never had any problems with this.
