False Color view PLUS clean video output

Is there any option to see false color in premiere PLUS the clean video output? I found some workarounds using LUTs to get a false color view instead of just the waveform? I found some workaround using custom LUTs to see false color in Prmere, but then you dont have a clean video view anymore and have to switch back and forth. I am thinking about maybe using my atomos shinobi small on-camera monitor with an HDMI splitter cable to color grade in premiere just to be able to see a false colour view. But maybe there is an easier option? I think there are some third party apps, but maybe they draw lots of resources..

Peter is correct. Besides outboard scopes like Omniscope have better options.

Nobe Omniscope the full version works great - its just a little more expensive than the false colour app.

The Demo works very nice... when its acually working. For some reason it often looses connection to mercury transmit and the screen is frozen. Even restarting Omniscope or deactivating and reeinabling mercury transmit then does not help. I can only restart premiere. And this happens quite frequently. Maybe its because I am using a Blackmagic Ultrastudio Monitor 3G at the same time... dont know.

The BM gear for monitor out can be frustrating ... there's clearly a lot of if this then that but never Y if Z and ... they aren't obvious. I've seen so many posts on the BM forums about this, even in Resolve, where they can't get the right signal out, either resolution or bit depth.

"Well, although the X decklink would seem to work from a quick look at the documentation, actually if you read down to the fine details, that particular one only does "these" if "those" ... so you really need the Y decklink instead ... "

Then throw in that BlackMagic is about as kindergardner when working with others as Apple ... and definitely considers Adobe as ... not a friendly, shall we say. So getting good help from BM for issues with Adobe ... well, understand their profit model.

They provide Resolve as a loss-leader to get us to buy BM kit. And their kit is specifically not usable in anyone else's NLE. It's an entirely valid profit model, I understand it and accept it.  But their attitude is somewhat annoying.

Especially as I'm not a BM only gear person. I've got the Tangent panels for work in both Premiere and Resolve, and am not interested in cluttering up my desktop with Resolve only gear.

And of course, I have enough BM kit already to have the full Resolve studio without paying additional for it.  Yup, loss leader software ...

I think Omniscope False Color will be the best workaround.
