Hello Everyone.

I was watching this Color Correcting Tutorial:

How to Color Correct and Grade in Adobe Premiere Pro CC (Lumetri Scopes, Skin Tone, White Balance) - YouTube

At: 5:27 of this Video, The Instructor Is explaining fast Color Corrector.

Basically, she Is moving the Hue Angel of Fast Color Corrector to the left and right to get the Vectorscope white Visualization to be In the center.

Would you please watch the 5:27 of this video and let me know what you think.

    You can do the same thing in Lumetri using the Curves/Hue v. Hue curve. Just grab the line and move it up or down. You will see the rotation in the Vectorscope YUV.

    And Lumetri is a vastly superior color correction process.

    Most welcome. And there's gonna be some more there over the next couple weeks.

    The "new" curves tab, with those wonderful new tools ... not just Hue v. Saturation, but Hue v. Hue, Hue v. Luma and Luma v. Saturation. They have completely changed my working patterns.

    In the Curves tab, the top RGB curve is processed first, then all the other curves below are processed applied to the data coming after thecRGB curve. So even after using the Hue v. Saturation box at the top, when you do something with say Luma v. Saturation, it is applied to the data from the RGB curve. So you don't change what one does when you change another.

    There's so many things you can do so fast there even though I've never been a curves guy, and ... they're not built for use with a control surface like my Elements panel. But ... I did remap a ball/ring combo to mouse emulation so I don't have to leave the Elements to work on curves.

    That, the Comparison view and the Apply Match button have changed working in Lumetri for the better.

      Kelsey is good at teaching basic web work. And makes it easy to see how to get started out with Premiere.

      But every person does things a bit differently. There's some posts on my rneilphotog.com blog about what the tools in Lumetri actually do, that give you a better understanding of what happens when you change the controls.

      And I do discuss the process of grading. I have several more that will be up soon on as my workflow has changed with the tools introduced in the 2018/13.x builds of Pr.

      I work a bit more systemically and expect to go farther than Kelsey teaches. However, that level of detail work is not needed by everyone.
